Tminta.com was designed to connect freelancers and service providers with potential clients, offering a scalable, trusted, and user-friendly platform. The goal was to empower professionals by providing a seamless way to promote their services while ensuring easy client-freelancer communication.
Tminta.com is a local company primarily founded by myself and my co-founder Andrew Deguara to connect freelancers and service providers with potential clients. Apart from allowing professionals to promote their services for free, it facilitates direct communication between these parties. This platform was tailor-made to be scalable, trusted, user-friendly, and recognisable.
The reasons behind the name Tminta are that it is short, relevant and easy to remember. Having a strong domain name isn’t just about branding—it helps with search rankings, builds trust, and makes marketing simpler. By being recognizable for freelancers and clients alike, customers are more likely to come back to the site.
When designing Tminta, the end goal was to generate a brand that is professional but accessible for all. Every design choice, from the color schemes to fonts, was made with that in mind. The result was a tidy and efficient platform that reinforces the idea that Tminta is built for professionals whilst still being practical.
We built the site using WordPress/PHP, ensuring flexibility and scalability. The user journey was designed in Figma, while branding elements were created using Photoshop & Illustrator. Every decision was made with the end user in mind—no unnecessary clutter, just a functional, well-designed platform.
Tminta stands on a solid foundation with steady traffic and a growing user base. Moving forward, our focus will be on refining SEO, increasing user engagement, and creating new features based on user feedback.
Ultimately, the end goal was to construct a valuable and practical platform which is built to last.
